Has anyone seen the products of the M*A*C Fabulous Feline-line in person? I haven't yet but I am totally crazy for the campagne ad though...

Burberry Prorsum

Dear Mister Bailey,

First of all, congratulations on the wonderful show and amazing spring/summer-line.
For a few years straight now, every season of BP has made it to my wish list and so,
I was wondering if I could exchange my two Burberry-trenches and my sister's, for one of these looks?

Kind regards.

BCBG Max Azria

I really need to head over to Maasmechelen Village, since these Max Azria-pony wedges, which we all spotted earlier here, are for sale at the outlet store.

Both my dad and my boyfriend think they're horrible. But I think they would look great match with a winter rock and roll-look. Last winter I found one pair at the BCBG-store at the Louizalaan in Brussels but it wasn't my size, so I'm hoping I'll have better luck this time...

PS: Still jealous of my sister's new wedges.

Proenza Schouler

Here we go again ...

I see/say: Chanel, Prada yet so Proenza Schouler ...

Lily and the - pt. 2

Remember the cool jersey legging I ordered on Lily and the Lady last Sunday? Just one day and a half later, the little box containing my order arrived at my parents' house! Fast as lightning! I was excited to touch, feel and wear my first online fashion order ever, yet since I moved to Leuven a few months back, I had to wait until yesterday to open the package.

But it was worth the wait! I arrived home, already wearing an oversized shirt and a legging -ready to go for a hardcore show-, but as soon as I got my hands on my brand new pair, I kicked off my old ones and showed off my new favorite. The details just below the knee are subtle yet different enough to spice up your usual boring, plain jane black leggings...

And I must admit that the ladies over at the Lily and the Lady-webshop have a good eye for details. Lily and the Lady-tape, -ribbons and -paper, just like a pro would! But the kind note included in the box made it feel as a gift from a friend...

Aveda Make-up

At the end of this month, Aveda is relaunching its make-up line, paraben-free and as environmentally friendly as usual. And lucky me: I got the chance to take a peek at two of Aveda newest products and try them myself.

The new Nourish-Mint™ Lip Definer is a great solution to an omnipresent problem; getting your lipstick to stay put. Why is it different than a traditional lip liner then? First of all, it tastes minty, one of my favorite flavors, yet is subtle. I love the fact that your lips are well protected from the elements (hello fall.) and although the pencil has a creamy and rich texture, it's not as sticky as a gloss. But my favorite part is the sheer and transparent tint of the stick. So no need to buy separate lip definers for each lipstick you get. And since I'm totally addicted to the feel of this product, I'm even wearing it without any lipstick at all, nowadays.

But the newest Aveda-addition I'm really crazy about is the Color Options Eye Shadow Transformer, simply because it finally enables me get the exact color of eyeshadow as presented inside the little powder boxes. This is how it works: I just add one drop of the liquid to any eyeshadow and apply the fluid eyeshadow on the eyelid with the tiny brush. The great thing is that the color is super intense, perfect for an evening out. Plus, since the eyeshadow is no longer a powder and has been fixated, it will no longer run into the creases of your eyelid and fade away along the way.

Below you'll find some proof. At the top I applied my favorite eyeshadow, M*A*C's Black Tied, as one normally would do. Below, I transformed the eyeshadow with Aveda's Color Options.

As you can tell, the color of the eyeshadow has become much more deep and intense, and the sparkles are clearer and more visible. However, this is my favorite part: Below is an image I took a few hours later, and you can tell clearly that the transformed eyeshadow hasn't fade away as fast as the traditional one, which is an amazing asset when it comes to picking out the suitable make-up for a night out.

Last night for a family dinner, I applied the eyeshadow as a liquid eyeliner and it lasted throughout the entire evening, as promised.

If you care to know where you can find Aveda's new make-up line or the other Hair & Skin Aveda-products, just visit or and get in touch with your local Aveda-salon.

Aveda at NYFW - Jason Wu

Lily and the

If there is one girl I'm pretty jealous of at the moment, it must be Patricia! She's a fashion journalist for (think: gets to go to the coolest fashion parties ever), has an amazing wardrobe (YSL cage-sandals!) and recently moved to London (!) to study fashion communication (!!!). And to top all that, she's one of the funnest and nicest girls I know, so hating her is impossible.

So, when she told me that she and her mom would start their own web shop, I immediately knew that it would be a hit. The items they picked out for Lily and the Lady are too cute - check out my sister's wish list here - and the site looks and feels super professional yet very personal, since it provides a lot of info and feedback.

Here's a sneak peak of some of the cool pieces Lily and the Lady features - btw. I just placed my order for the Best Behavior-legging!- but make sure to explore the rest of the web shop. It's well worth it. Especially since Shark Attack-vistors will be rewarded with a 10 euro discount when placing a 50 euro-order. And, the rest of the month shipping will be free throughout the whole of Belgium!

Just enter this promotion code when adding your must-have item to the shopping bag:

Krizia explains on her blog how you do this.

Have fun and keep me posted on what you picked out for yourselves...
Oh and I want to wish both Patricia and her mom all the best with this great project! Well done!

Bulgari banned

I can't believe Venice would ban such a great ad. And I always thought Venice had a thing for lions?

Lanvin + H&M

Am I the only one who isn't planning to wait in line for this one? No, dear H&M, after that whole deal with S. Rykiel, you won't fool me again...

Plan: Save up for the real deal in stead of buying some overpriced H&M-shirt.

Want - la fille d'O

I really really really need to head back to Ghent.
I really really really want this new la fille d'O creation...

By now, everyone knows I'm a huge fan of the brand, but when I noticed that Murielle recreated the Duo into a cool bathing suit I can't stop visiting the webshop and wish Wonders was already mine...
- By the way, Believes is pretty amazing too... - Still haven't figured out with matching swim-undies I want though...

Tiffany & Co.-Bags

During my morning ritual -trying to find a way to put on my T&Co.-bracelet without asking for help- I was thinking of the memorable store. And I suddenly thought of the classic eyewear the jeweler makes and if they retail it in their NYC-store as well, or only through opticians, in order to be omni-present and this at a lower rate...

And only yesterday, I came across this following article: Tiffany & Co will sell handbags as well, launching today. .

At first glance, the blue details is a nice and subtle way to identify and mark the bag. However, I can't help but wondering how this doesn't seem as a credible way to expand the brand. Sort of like clothing brands that launch their own watch-collection but only give manufacturers permission to use their logo and don't care about the mechanism inside the watch itself. So hopefully, this isn't the case in new product-line...

Eitherway, I had a look at the slideshow, and I must admit that the bags look too classic and maybe even dull to me. I don't think they look different enough from other handbag brands to make it to a true must-have/it-bag, or at least not for someone my age... What do you think?

By the way,
every time I hit a Tiffany-store and see what a tremendous line there is at the Sterling-department, I always start nagging to my boyfriend on how that line is a way for a high end brand to reach the crowds and to increase brand awareness. Think: Chanel-perfume/make-up/nailpolish-strategy: "Now everyone can be a Chanel-girl, and this just by buying the relatively cheap product"...  Now, have a look at this:

Still, roughly 90% of the luxury chain's sales remain in jewelry. The biggest share of Tiffany's total sales of $2.71 billion last year, 31%, came from its lowest-priced merchandise category—sterling silver jewelry with no gemstones and an average price of $200, according to the company's most recent annual report. Bridal jewelry, including diamond rings and wedding bands with an average price of $3,300, made up about a fifth of all sales.

Note to BF: I don't wear rings. Ever.
