Finally I got the chance to see my new case -since I had it delivered to my parents' house. I absolutely love the flashy color, the croc-texture and the smell of the Italian leather, which reminds me of old southern shoe shops. Just as I thought it would be the first time I spotted the case on carolinesmode.com

My leather goods are becoming a bit too matchy-matchy though.

My fashion/film thesis was head on; more and more designers would use film to promote their brand and collections... How I wish I could edit my thesis -which probably by now is collecting dust in our school's library- and write a paragraph on this project.

A friend of mine, a guide in Antwerp and blogger, posted Beyonce's latest video on my facebook page earlier today, which the question: what do you think of the styling?

And I must say I've been a fan of her 'new style' for a while now, but this clip is my favorite up until now.

Fashion Musical

Since fashion duo Dolce & Gabbana play a part in soon to be released musical Nine, this ought to be enough reason for me to go and see it for my thesis, with my little Moleskine notebook in hand. But then I stumbled across a video where Kate Hudson was singing and preforming in a sparkly outfit. Now, I'm not a huge fan of musicals. They often bore me -The Nightmare Before Christmas is an exception for sure. But when I looked up the cast for this movie and discovered that Daniel Day Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Sofia Loren -all time favorites!- and even Fergie are starring, I'm actually looking forward to seeing this adaptation of Fellini's 8½ in theaters soon.

And hey, since I am a film lover and Italian as well, I'm obliged to give this movie a fair chance, no?
