Old silver

Can anyone tell me how you can treat your old silver? My Tiffany & Co-bracelet and pendants have been mistreated the past year and appear black. What product can I use to make them look like new again, so that I'll have as much pleasure wearing them as I did the past year?

As you can tell from the picture, I've dropped my T&C-heart pretty hard twice in the last weeks and now has two bad dents (luckily on the backside!) aside from the many scratches. It now has more character alright but I wish I would have taken more care of my jewels the past year. How's that for a new year's resolution.

Anyhow, have a lovely new year's eve!

  1. There's some solutions out there that are specially done for silver. Yet you could also try toothpaste, just use your brush to brush the silver with it and you'll start to see it shine. Hope it helps :)

  2. hey Krizia,

ik weet niet of het werkt, maar ik heb vaak gehoord dat as helpt. Dus gewoon wat as op een doekje of watje doen en daarmee over je armband vegen. Succes!

  4. zilverpoets to the rescue! maar volgens de juwelier is de ideale oplossen: je armband heel vaak dragen, dan blijft 'ie mooi!

  5. Ik had hetzelfde voor met mijn B-to-B ringen en ik heb ze in een kommetje met water en dreft laten weken en ze waren weer helemaal schoon. :)
